Carter Grayson:
Carter is the Red Lightspeed Rescue Ranger. Aside from that,
he is a confident leader and good friend, not to mention selfless. Having experience as a firefighter before becoming a ranger
helps Carter with his rescue antics.
Unlike the others, Carter likes to train, no matter the
day or weather. He controls the Pyro Rescue 1 Rescue Zord, which had ladder arms to resue people from burning buildings
or extinguish fires, or become the torso and arms of the Lightspeed Megazord. Rail Rescue 1 was his rail rescue that
became an arm of the Super Train. His Omegazord, Omegazord Red, seems to be a Space Jet that forms the head and
chest of the Omega Megazord.
In his ranger arsenal, he carries the standard Rescue Blaster,
a Thermo Blaster, a Battle Booster, a V-Lancer, and the Rescue Bird's Rescue Drill.
Carter also used the Mobile Armor Vehicle, a flying vehicle
that reached high speeds. On top of that extra, Carter was given the TransArmor Cycle, which can convert from motor
cycle to battleizer form.
Chad Lee:
Chad a student of martial arts, as well as a skilled
diver and rollerblader. He is often the one to think about decisions before making them, unlike his friend Joel, who is act
first, ask later. Chad had a short romance with a mermaid named Merina, who was the daughter of Neptune (god of the seas).
Chad uses Aqua Rescue 2 rescue zord to put out fires, or combine
with Haz and Med rescue to form Hyrdo Mode, but normally is used to be the thighs and waist of the Lightspeed Megazord. He
also has Rail Rescue 2 that becomes the other arm of the Super Train Megazord. Omegazord Blue, which is a type of submarine
spaceship, forms the arms of the Omega Megazord.
Chad comes equipped with a rescue blaster, thermo blaster, battle
booster, a V-lancer, and rescue Bird's Rescue Laser.
Chad also has a mega battle, which he activates by using 8-6-1
on his battle booster.
Joel Rawlins:
Cocky, a bit airheaded, and somehow charming, Joel is also known as the
Sky Cowboy, which is how he was chosen for Operation Lightspeed. As Green Ranger, Joel uses Aero Rescue 3 to lift heavy objects,
shoot down enemy fliers, and become the head of the Lightspeed Megazord. He also controls Rail Rescue 3--the head and torso
of the Super Train Megazord, and Omegazord Green--a small fighter craft that becomes the waist of the Omega Megazord.
Aside from his ranger duties, Joel often likes to try and charm Ms.
Fairweather or hang out with Chad, playing pranks on people.
Joels arsenal consists of a Rescue Blaster, Thermo Blaster, Battle
Booster, V-Lancer, and the Rescue Cutter of Rescue Bird.
He also uses the Mega Battle by entering 8-6-1 on his Battle Booster.
Kelsey Winslow:
Perhaps the craziest,
ditziest ranger ever, Kelsey is an adrenaline junkie with a heart of gold. It was these assets that made her perfect for the
Yellow Ranger, where she appropriately had Haz Rescue 4, which had a shovel in the back and was good at stopping...well...hazardous
events. She also had Rail Resce 4--a leg of the SuperTrain, and Omegazord Yellow--a excavator vehicle that resembled a tank.
In her free time, Kelsey
could be found rescuing animals, helping old ladies, or climbing cliffs, roller blading, and even trying to practice Tai Chi
with Chad.
Kelsey's arsenal is
basic, like Dana's, consisting soley of a Rescue Blaster, Thermo Blaster, Battle Booster, V-Lancer, and the Rescue Claw of
the Rescue Bird.
Dana Mitchell:
Captain Mitchell's youngest child and only daughter, Dana was
chosen not because of favoritism, but for her outstanding prowess in the Medical Field. Following her specialty, Dana uses
Med Rescue 5 to evacuate battle areas and to transport stranded cars and people, or to become the other leg of the Lightspeed
Megazord. She also uses Rail Rescue 5 to be the other leg of the Super Train Megazord. Lastly, she uses Omegazord Pink--a
tank like vehicle similar to Kelsey's--to become the final leg of the Omega Megazord.
Outside of work, Dana is either hanging out with Kelsey,
Carter, or her brother Ryan...very few times is she alone, for she may be shy, but she still likes company.
Dana's arsenal is complete with essentials only: Rescue Blaster,
Thermo Blaster, Battle Booster, V-Lancer, and Rescue Bird's Rescue Injector.
Ryan Mitchell:
Primarily evil, Ryan was 'saved' by Diabolico from his death after
the Mitchell Family was in an accident. Filled with hate, Ryan returned at age 20, stealing the Titanium Morpher and defeating
the Lightspeed rangers on more than one occasion. Finally, he was converted, but had to defeat a Cobra Monster to keep
his remaining power after it had been drained. He only has one zord, the Max Solarzord, which is capable of flight and transforming
into an acrobatic robot, or combining with the Lightspeed Megazord to form the Lightspeed Solarzord.
Ryan's time was spent in the desert, looking for ways to defeat the
demons. He was kidnapped by Queen Bansheera but rescued by Carter. He and Carter later defeated Queen Bansheera, bringing
peace to Mariner Bay.
Ryan's arsenal is fairly small, consisting only of the Titanium Laser,
which could quickly transform for close battle in an Axe formation.
