Our powerless rangers fall into a subterranean area known as the Power Chamber, an underground
Command Center. The Command Center then rebuilds its structure and the Power Chamber moves into the old space. Zordon then
uses the Zeo Crystal to grant the rangers new powers and making them Zeo Power Rangers. Each crystal was put into a zeonizer,
and then a separate morpher was used to activate it. The Zeo crystal gave powers similar to its shape: Kat became the Zeo
Ranger I Pink Circle, Tanya Zeo Ranger II Yellow lines, Rocky Zeo Ranger III Blue Triangle, Adam Zeo Ranger IV Green Rectangle,
and Tommy Zeo Ranger V Red Star.
Billy decided not to take a crystal and opted to stay and work in the Power Chamber as an aid
to Alpha. Not too far into the battle, Billy and Alpha create the first ever Human Made Zords, the Zeo Zords. Zeo Zords I
and II being two giant rolling robots that attach to Zeo Zord III and IV, the Sphinx and Taurus, forming a sort of chariot,
while Zeo Zord V was the Phoenix. The Zeo Megazord was the first of its kind, featuring battle helmets that let it take on
attributes of each ranger when utilizing that helmet.
As new challenges arise, Billy creates the Red Battlezord, a telepathically controlled zord
like those of the Aquitar Rangers, and grants it to Tommy. Throughout the battle, Billy also creates several weapons for the
rangers.
Before long, a mystery warrior known as the Gold Ranger helps our rangers fend off danger until
his Zord Pyramidas is shot down on Aquitar. He is Prince Trey of Triforia, and has three forms that come undone: Trey
of Heart, Trey of Courage, and Trey of Wisdom. He must temporarily give up the Golden Powers, and was teleported to Earth
to transfer them to Billy. However, while building the Zeo Zords, Billy's genetic makeup was changed by so many protons and
he could not accept the powers. In a stroke of genius, Tommy went and found an old friend, thus creating the return of the
original red ranger Jason. Not long after, Cestro of Aquitar, the blue alien ranger, comes to earth to take Billy with him
to help on a project and to help Billy's sudden rapid aging problem.
Trey also gives the Super Zeo Gems to the rangers, which unlock the Super Zeo Zords, humanoid
zords capable of underwater and space battles that carry their shape on their chest and combine to form the Super Zeo Megazord,
which was poweful enough to defeat a fully grown King Mondo. Jason fights as the Gold ranger and later recieves 2 zords from
Trey: The Warrior Wheel, and the Pyramidas, which is used in the Ultrazord formation, and Jason later recieves Auric the Conquerer
from Tanya and her parents.
Rita and Zedd get back into the game with Lui Kaboom, who overthrows the Machine Empire until
King Mondo's other son Prince Gasket and his wife Archerina arrive. Trey returns for the Golden Powers that are slipping away
from Jason, and the Machine Empire calms down. The rangers do not get to finish the machine empire as a new space pirate named
Divatox poses a more dangerous threat, causing Zordon, Alpha, and the rangers to create a new more powerful source of energy...
