Lightspeed Rescue

This is where the government steps in. 5 young adults are chosen for their special skills to take on 5 man-made morphers to become the Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue. These 5 are Carter Grayson-a firefighter, Chad Lee-an aquatic animal trainer, Joel Rawlins-the Sky Cowboy of a pilot, Kelsey Winslow-an extreme athlete, and Dana Mitchell-Captain Mitchell's own nurse daughter. These five become the rangers with the call of "Lightspeed--Rescue!" where they earn the colors of Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Pink respectively.

Each ranger also comes equpped with a rescue blaster that can convert into a baton, and they also each have a special weapon that combines to form the rescue bird. Finally, each ranger uses their Rescue Zord for giant battles: Pyro Rescue 1, Aqua Rescue 2, Aero Rescue 3, Haz Rescue 4, and Med Rescue 5. They also have giant train compartments that carry their rescue zords into battle called SuperTrain zords, which can combine to form the gigantic SuperTrain Megazord.

When the rangers finally begin to get use to their powers, Carter gets an experimental upgrade which he cannot control. Late that night, we see Dana and Captain Mitchell celebrating the birthday their son and brother Ryan, who would've been 20 that day. Later on that night, a mysterious figure steals the experimental Titanium Morpher from the base after Captain Mitchell had locked it away in his desk.

Titanium ranger makes his debut and owns the rangers. After upgrading to V-Lancers, it is then Captain Mitchell realizes the Titanium Ranger is in fact his presumed dead son Ryan Mitchell. The Captain explains how there was a car accident in which the three were hanging off the edge of a cliff. Ryan slipped and Diabolico appeared, offering a deal; if Captain Mitchell gave Ryan to Diabolico, he would live, and Mitchell would see him when he was 20.
During the explanation, Dana attempts to convert Ryan, only to be handled again. Finally, Ryan and Captain Mitchell meet at the accident site, where they scuffle off the edge and Mitchell must hold Ryan up, much like he did years ago. However, Ryan lets go and morphs, this way he can protect them both. Ryan then resigns his duty as a ranger and is about to leave when 3 super powered monsters show up and beat the rangers.

Ryan returns, opening the silver box his father gave him which contained his Titanium Morpher. Ryan returns to fight for good and owns the monsters. Later that night, Ryan has a nightmare that Diabolico puts a cobra tatoo on his back to drain his ranger powers. He awakes to find the tatoo very real and must debate whether or not to morph.

Diabolico's super monsters return to cause havoc, but Ryan loses energy because of the tatoo. Carter destroys one with the RescueBird but the other two are very much alive. They return the next day and over power the rangers in their zords. Ms. Fairweather, head technician at Lightspeed, sends out the Max Solarzord for Ryan to pilot. Ryan loses a lot of energy in the zord and passes out, where his teammates discover his hidden condition.

Ryan later discovers the Cobra's Power source and goes to destroy it. The power source is a statue in the demon's tomb of which they arose. Ryan confronts the cobra but is beaten at first, however he manages to destroy it and return to help the rangers destroy Diabolico in the Lightspeed Solarzord, a combination of the Lightspeed Megazord and Max Solarzord.

Meanwhile, Queen Bansheera gives Diabolico's fallen star power to Impus, who ascends to Olympius and captures 4 rangers. He then sneaks into the Aqua Base by posing as the rangers, but Carter uncovers the truth and weakens him with all demon's weakness: Water. he frees his friends and they drive Olympius back.

Then, Jinxer and Olympis come up with a ritual to bring back Queen Bansheera. The rangers interrupt in time to resurrect her in a deformed state, for which Olympis swears revenge. Ryan, because of the close call of Queen Bansheera's resurrection, leaves to the tomb to find a way to seal away the demons. Olympius, acting through revenge, sends an asteroid to earth but Ms. Fairweather is already 3 steps ahead. She gives the rangers the Omegazords, which launch from the SuperTrains once lead into space by the Max Solarzord. The Ranger destroy the asteroid and return to earth to fight off more of Olympius' onslaughts.

Carter has a strange occurance that lets him relive a particularly scary day, and shows him his inner ability to believe in himself. Later, Olympius betrays Vypra and Loki, burying them alive. The two demons refuse to give up and revive Diabolico. The two powerful demons attempt to fight but Queen Bansheera interrupts her son and servant, telling them to work together for her. They agree but do not like it and continue to plot to destroy the rangers.
Because of Diabolico returning, Ms Fairweather calls on a scientist to help her with the Mega Battles and Joel (who is crushing on Ms Fairweather) gets jealous, only to find the scientist is her brother. The Mega Battles come in handy for the blue and green rangers as they use their battle boosters to activate them.

Another problem arrises as Trakeena returns to absorb human life force from Earth. The Lost Galaxy Rangers coem to earth and aid the Lightspeed Rangers against Trakeena's ghoul forces. Olympius enters the fray and contaminates Trakeena's power source, transforming her into a giant mutant. The Galaxy Megazord lends its power up mode to the Omega Megazord and the rangers defeat Trakeena. Afterward, Ryan has discovered the Sorcerer of the Sands, the same one who originally trapped the demons. He frees the rangers form a world where all their pre-defeated foes attacked them, and ends up trapping Olympius in there. Diabolico then kills the sorcerer with a spell, leaving Ryan lost once more.

Jinxer tricks Captain Mitchell into giving the Star Power more energy so that Olympius may return from the underworld more powerful than before, but the rangers interrupt, destroying the star power and enabling them to 'defeat' Olympius. Jinxer takes him to a cave where he heals him back to health slowly.

Olympius captures Diabolico and brainwashes him. He uses this to his advantage destroys the rangers' megazords except the Omega. They are barely bailed out by their LifeForce megazord, which feeds off their lifeforces.

Queen Bansheera, still alive, kidnaps Ryan and launches a final attack on the rangers, capturing the LifeForce and Omega Megazords. They destroy the Aquabase and the rangers barely escape it. Carter goes to the Skull Cavern to trap Queen Bansheera once and for all and save Ryan. The two are defeated at first, then manage to destroy the hijacked Omega Megazord. The others finish off the LifeForce Megazord with torpedoes from an escape sub. Ryan and Carter return to the cavern and finish the job, trapping Queen Bansheera in the tomb once and for all.
